Our impact

multiSIM’s training simulations serve a large customer base with many different training needs. Our products make a decisive impact in the Defense, Aeromedical and Innovation industry.

It is not just based on computer science, we provide actual flight training in our Simulation Innovation Lab as well.

F-35 Unclass Training

multiSIM’s unique F-35 unclass simulation is targeting air forces and aeromedical centers to provide different types of training with one common goal: pilot readiness. Available training solutions include:

  • Mask-on, F-35 specific hypoxia awareness training
  • Engine Run-Up Emergency Procedure training
  • Part-task unclass F-35 training
  • VR, Mixed Reality and Full Dome solutions

F-16 viper Training

We provide realistic, full-cockpit simulation and training solutions for F-16 operators. In our own Simulator Innovation Lab we provide Emergency Procedure and Deep Stall Recovery training to different air forces.

  • Emergency Procedure Training (all EPs)
  • Deep Stall Recovery training
  • F-16 procedures and weapon deployment

Helicopter mission training

Based on our own training experience in mountain flying, brownout and sling loads with the full-motion Desdemona simulator, multiSIM provides distributed mission simulation for helicopter operations. With our Mixed, and Virtual Reality solutions the whole crew, or even multiple crews can be trained.

  • Mountain flying, brownout, sling loads
  • Mission training with crew and multiple helicopters
  • AS532, CH-47, AH-64, H-135

Disorientation Training

All pilots must understand the dangers of losing spatial awareness and being disoriented. For air force pilots, Spatial Disorientation training is essential for survival. multiSIM delivers platform and mission specific Spatial Disorientation simulators.

  • Disorientation Training in a specific aircraft or helicopter
  • Training Spatial (and Situational) Awareness in complex missions
  • For all motion platforms: hexapods (with turntable), centrifuges, and more advanced motion systems.
  • Demonstration of visual effects with a VR desktop trainer

Aerospace Medicine Hypoxia Training

multiSIM’s unique simulations offer air forces and aeromedical centers the ability to provide hypoxia training to aircrew, all in pursuit of their ultimate goal: pilot readiness. The hypoxia training can be performed in a realistic environment, such as in multiSIM’s unclass F-35 simulation. This way, pilots can be made aware of the effects and the potential risks of hypoxia in-flight during, for example, tactical maneuvers. Key features are:

  • Mask-on, F-35 specific hypoxia awareness training
  • Training in a realistic, in-flight, environment
  • Hypoxia trainer is easy to transport

Night vision training

multiSIM developed realistic Night Vision Goggle (NVG) simulation in VR headsets for the Royal Netherlands Air Force to provide NVG training. Key features are:

  • NVG simulation is physics based
  • 3th generation NVG simulated
  • Other sensor images included (e.g., I^2)

mobile training solutions

multiSIM focuses on an easy-to-use concept and providing convenience for the end-user. This also includes ensuring that simulators could be easily transported if desired. For example, multiSIM developed the F-35 specific hypoxia awareness trainer in a container for the RNLAF, allowing the trainer to be brought to the air force bases, so that pilots do not have to waste their valuable time traveling. This trainer featured:

  • Unclass F-35 simulation (software and basic hardware)
  • Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device (ROBD)
  • Instructor station
